It was a baptism of fire for Jodie on her pro debut against Lithuania’s in form Vaida Masiokaite in July 2024.

 

Jodie never truly got going and went down 39-38 on the referee’s scorecard in Leeds after four competitive rounds on her 29th birthday.

 

Jodie who was a GB squad member and Commonwealth Games quarter-finalist lost 40kg to follow her boxing dream.

 

Before moving into boxing she was a rugby league player and a broken ankle cost Jodie a place in the England World Cup squad.
