LENNOX is on the path to reviving his title aspirations after suffering his first defeat against Razor Ali in a thrilling match at York Hall in May 2024. The opportunity to challenge for the IBO Continental Super-Bantamweight title was too appealing to decline. The fighter from Wigan was knocked out in the third round of what was shaping up to be an epic bout, having nearly secured victory in the first round. Lythgoe lost his focus when his gum shield fell, leading to a body shot that knocked him down, but he managed to survive. Razor pressed on, and Lennox was ultimately counted out.

In October, he returned to the ring, showcasing his skills by outpointing Yin Caicedo over six rounds, just hours after his partner gave birth to their second child.

Lennox made a striking debut in September 2021, taking down the more experienced Ricky Leach in just two rounds. This was followed by another solid performance two months later, where he outpointed Bradford's Jake Pollard 40-35.

He started 2022 with two dominant point victories against Simas Volosinas and Constantin Radoi. Lythgoe concluded the year with a bang, stopping Chris Wong in the first round. Finding suitable matches for him in 2023 has been challenging, leading him to revisit old opponents, where he outscored Volosinas again over four rounds. In July, Lythgoe delivered his most impressive victory to date, finishing Reynaldo Cajina in just 28 seconds of the opening round of a scheduled six-round fight. Matching Lythgoe has proven difficult for the VIP team, but in September, he accepted a weight disadvantage and outscored Jake Smith over four rounds. Lythgoe, who aims to face English champion stablemate Zahid Hussein in the near future, wrapped up 2023 with a points victory against Steve Jackson.
