Luis Wright made a notable entrance into the professional boxing scene with his debut at the iconic Winter Gardens in Blackpool.
Despite experiencing the jitters typical of a first-time fighter, he showcased his skill and composure by decisively defeating veteran Phil Williams, earning a unanimous decision victory with a score of 40-37.
In his second outing, Wright faced Williams once again, showing significant improvement. This time, he dominated the match and secured a stoppage just before the end of the fourth round, solidifying his reputation as a rising talent.
Wright continued to build momentum with a quick first-round stoppage against Czech fighter Miloslav Pavek in his third match, further demonstrating his knockout power.
March 2024 brought another victory for Wright, as he faced unbeaten rival Kevin Masirika. The fight ended in a stoppage in the third round when Masirika was forced to withdraw due to a shoulder injury.
Two months later, Wright returned to his hometown for a challenging fight against Yury Bykhautsou. Although he won all four rounds, the bout served as an important learning experience, pushing him to develop and adapt under pressure.
In September 2024, Wright's sixth professional contest saw him face the tough Belarussian Viktar Chavarkou. Despite the rugged challenge, Wright proved his endurance and skill by going the distance, adding another victory to his record.
