Jack Arnfield

Date of Birth: 22/5/89
From: Blackpool
Record: 26-3 (6 KOs)
Weight: Super-Middleweight

JACK ARNFIELD ended five years of inactivity in May 2024 for what is a likely final title assault.
His surprising return came unexpectedly with not even trainer Mike Jennings or manager Steve Wood knowing until he completed his medicals.
He didn’t disappoint in Blackpool in his first fight since February 2017, outpointing Robbie Chapman in a six rounder.
Arnfield has carved out a very good career and has been with Wood at VIP since turning professional in October 2007.
His best win came in September 2016 when he upset John Ryder on points to claim the WBA International Middleweight title — a victory that looks sensational considering how close the Londoner came to taking Callum Smith’s world crown.
Arnfield came through a successful defence against Mick Hall in January 2017 and two months later chalked up what might be his personal favourite win against Brian Rose.
Both men hail from Blackpool and Rose was a ex-VIP fighter adding more spice to the derby showdown on the Linares-Crolla I card.
Both men will admit the fight wasn’t eye-catching, but Arnfield wasn’t worried by that when his hand was raised after 12 rounds.
In his last fight before the Blackpool return against Chapman, he lost on points against Tommy Langford in a British Middleweight title clash. He’d also fallen short fighting for a Lonsdale belt against Nick Blackwell in 2015
Arnfield won the first 18 fights of his career before coming unstuck in a Prize-fighter competition
